A centrifugal fan is a mechanical device for moving air or other gases. The terms "blower" and "squirrel cage fan", (because it looks like a hamster wheel), are frequently used as synonyms. These fans increase the speed and volume of an air stream with the rotating impellers. 

Centrifugal fans use the kinetic energy of the impellers to increase the volume of the air stream, which in turn moves them against the resistance caused by ducts, dampers and other components. Centrifugal fans displace air radially, changing the direction (typically by 90°) of the airflow. They are sturdy, quiet, reliable, and capable of operating over a wide range of conditions.

Product Description:  Spiral ducts are rolled spirally using a GI coil by special machines and are widely used in various industries. Spiral ducts are normally made of thinner materials, and light weight in nature and the spiral joining formed over the surface adds more strength to it and acts as reinforcements. Thus Spiral ducts are used without acoustic insulation and thermal insulations due to its nature of exposure. The lighter ducts normally doesn’t require heavy supports and can be easily hanged from roof / wall.  Since air being a compressible fluid, the ducting should be properly designed for maximum efficiency with minimum losses. The ducts, bends, branches, Transitions, Hang clamps, Coupling collars etc. are part of design to process parameters like dust loads, moisture content, dust carrying velocities etc. Powder accumulation on bends occurs; more velocity and pressure would have been lost as friction.
